About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Sollis Health in the Hamptons. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to patients under the supervision of a Physician, while also handling clerical tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Perform vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures, documenting findings in the medical record.
  • Establish good interpersonal relationships with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Communicate patient observations to the healthcare team.
  • Run lab tests, including specimen collection, identification, and handling according to Sollis Health guidelines.
  • Process patient specimens and enter information into our electronic health record, Athenahealth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, making patients comfortable and answering their questions professionally.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures and use proper body mechanics to assist with patient transfers.
  • Complete clerical and administrative duties, including answering phones, patient check-in, and documentation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a NYS Certified Nursing Attendant program, Medical Assistant program, or other state-licensed program, such as EMT, required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
