Salary Estimate:$60,000 - $80,000 per year
Job Description:
The Assembly and Calibration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. This individual will be responsible for assembling, soldering, testing, and calibrating various products across our facility and value streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test product assemblies according to documented procedures
- Solder printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) using industrial soldering techniques
- Visually inspect manufactured items for cosmetic and workmanship defects
- Measure and cut wires to specifications
- Crimping cable connectors
- Assist in conducting physical inventory and cycle counting
- Record production and time activity in reporting systems
- Obey all safety rules and regulations for the Oak Ridge site
- Submit safety opportunities for improvement through the Tier 1 and 2 processes
- Promptly report safety near misses or incidents to EHS or management
- Ensure compliance with our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
- Assist in internal auditing when requested
- Remain current in all required compliance training
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lb. infrequently
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in industrial soldering
- Ability to identify electronic components
- Ability to read electrical schematics
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of production manufacturing experience
