We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse (Diabetes) - ESEP/MP to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services in Gallup, NM. As an Outpatient Nurse in the Diabetes Program, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to ambulatory patients.
Job Summary- Provides comprehensive nursing care to ambulatory patients in the Diabetes Program.
- Evaluates patient status and revises necessary to meet the revisions in the medical care plan and patient's changing needs.
- Cordinates health care needs through making referrals to other specialty clinics and community resources.
- A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required.
- Possession of a master's degree in professional nursing; or at least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or above) and possession of a diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Nursing from a professional nursing program.
We offer a competitive salary of $82,131 - $106,770 per year, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. Due to this requirement, the agency must ensure that persons hired for these positions have not been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes.
