Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care while overseeing unit operations. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC will assess and enhance nursing care in line with established protocols. This role also serves as a resource for staff, promoting an exceptional patient experience.

About the Unit:

The Cardiac Telemetry unit specializes in monitoring patients with acute cardiac conditions. Nurses in this unit are adept at interpreting ECGs, identifying arrhythmias, and responding to emergencies. They possess advanced critical thinking abilities and extensive clinical knowledge, remaining composed in high-pressure situations. Our unit caters to patients recovering from various cardiac procedures, including open-heart surgeries and catheterizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide, assess, and tailor high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Facilitate admission and discharge processes.
  • Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and management.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Completion of a Registered Nurse Diploma is necessary.
