Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all unit functions. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC will monitor and assess nursing care in alignment with established policies, serving as a vital resource for staff and enhancing the patient experience.
About the Cardiac Unit:
Our Cardiac Telemetry nurses are skilled in assessing acute patient changes, monitoring heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, and responding to emergencies. They possess advanced critical thinking abilities and extensive clinical knowledge, remaining composed under pressure. The unit specializes in caring for patients recovering from various cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver customized, high-quality patient care.
- Assisting with patient admissions and discharges.
- Working with leadership to enhance outcomes and service quality.
- Providing coaching and training to staff to improve performance.
- Assisting with staff scheduling and coordination.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Registered Nurse diploma or equivalent.
