Role Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while overseeing unit operations. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC evaluates nursing practices to ensure compliance with established standards. This role serves as a key resource for staff, enhancing the overall patient experience.
About the Cardiac Unit:
Our Cardiac Telemetry team is skilled in assessing acute patient changes, monitoring heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, and responding to emergencies. Our nurses possess advanced critical thinking abilities and extensive clinical knowledge, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations. The unit specializes in caring for patients recovering from various cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assisting with patient admissions and discharges.
- Working with experts and leadership to enhance service quality and outcomes.
- Providing mentorship and training to staff to foster engagement and performance improvement.
- Supporting staff scheduling processes.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Registered Nurse diploma required.
