Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a sensing and software platform for high-volume thin film manufacturing lines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and validating electrical systems, particularly those involving high-voltage devices. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and validate the electrical components of the cold atmospheric plasma-based metrology sensor
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and develop new concepts for low-temperature plasma-based metrology
  • Perform fundamental studies to characterize and understand the sensitivity of the sensor performance to various environmental factors
  • Interface with clients to iterate on the design based on their feedback and ensure seamless integration
  • Develop and maintain technical design documentation, including requirements, wiring diagrams, and test reports

Requirements:

  • B.S./M.S./PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in leading independent electrical design projects, particularly those involving designing products for integration into larger systems
  • Familiarity with FCC, CE, and UL certification is a plus
  • Experience with high-voltage devices and metrology equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
