Job Title: Associate Electrical Engineer

East Bay Municipal Utility District is seeking a highly skilled Associate Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining electrical power systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, substations, and cogeneration plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical power systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, substations, and cogeneration plants.
  • Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems.
  • Manage projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or California EIT certificate.
  • Four years of professional electrical engineering experience, including design and construction of electrical power systems.
  • California registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer and valid California driver's license.
