About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Speech Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide functional rehabilitation to individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a variety of settings, including the patient's home, community, workplace, or school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences
  • Perform discharge evaluations and make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members
  • Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
  • Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
