At Secora Rehabilitation of Cascadia, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents/patients with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate residents/patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a physician
- Provide direct patient/resident treatment and instruction to residents/patients, families, and caregivers
- Administer and score specialized hearing and speech tests
- Document patient/resident progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current license in Speech Language Therapy as required by state law
- Valid CPR certification
- At least six months of experience in a long-term care environment
