Fulton Commons Care Center - Weekend RN Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Fulton Commons Care Center. As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for promoting and restoring patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer nursing care to residents and establish resident treatment plans and care plans.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior, and communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding resident care.
  • Educate residents about health maintenance and disease prevention, and maintain accurate resident medical records.
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their family members, and lead a team of nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current NY state RN license in good standing.
  • Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and a minimum of 1-year of experience in a long-term care facility and a supervisory role.
