Senior Safety Specialist

Job Summary
Adams & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety and security department, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living and working environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports recommending corrective action.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and assessments of Center equipment and facilities to identify potential safety and security hazards.
- Enforce occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
- Respond to emergency situations and requests.
- Responsible for Center security, visitor control, and student accountability.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred.
- Job Corps or related program experience preferred.
- Valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching.
- Demonstrate the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance.
