About the Role:
CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SMB Sales Executive to expand our presence in the small to midsize business segment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on acquiring new accounts to meet your sales quota.
This is a remote opportunity with occasional in-office requirements for team collaboration and unity. We are looking for a sales professional with a passion for cybersecurity, strong sales acumen, and a tenacious attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the small to midsize business segment.
- Collaborate with our Inside Sales Engineers to close deals and provide technical support to customers.
- Partner with our channel partners to drive net-new business and expand our reach in the market.
- Forecast and report sales updates to management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor analysis, and CrowdStrike's product offerings to effectively communicate value to customers.
- May require modified work hours to accommodate accounts in different time zones, and occasional travel for high-touch accounts.
- Develop your sales skills through leadership engagement, sales training, and mentorship from senior sales executives.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in cold calling and selling to greenfield accounts, particularly in the tech, SaaS, or security industries.
- Proven track record of setting appointments and speaking with C-level executives, technical teams, and engineers.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new business and technical concepts.
- Competitive attitude with positive sportsmanship to collaborate with peers.
- Excellent presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
