About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Audio Visual Field Technician to join our team at EOS. As a key member of our AV team, you will be responsible for leading the installation and maintenance of AV/Telepresence products, as well as managing a team of AV technicians on installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Lead the installation and de-installation of AV/Telepresence products, ensuring that all equipment is properly configured and functioning as expected.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of AV technicians on installation projects, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configure endpoints and infrastructure, perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and rooms are ready for use, and identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Project Management: Oversee the completion of post-installation assessments, perform on-site user acceptance testing, and install software upgrades as needed.
  • Customer Support: Act as a point of escalation for technical issues, provide solutions for ongoing faults, and communicate with management throughout the day as it relates to assignments.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare project reports and update management on project status, document and report hardware failures, and manage break/fix and RMA requests as needed.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Must have experience leading teams of AV technicians or engineers.
  • Technical Skills: Must have experience terminating, configuring, and programming AV equipment, including Extron, Cisco, Crestron, and/or AMX.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to read and understand plans to ensure everything is done correctly, and have excellent customer interaction and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Must be able to think critically and solve problems independently, with a strong sense of urgency and a high level of professionalism.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be eligible, willing, and able to work and travel globally when required.
