The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in affordable housing operations, coupled with strong technical acumen in Yardi software solutions. This role involves the implementation of Yardi Voyager, Yardi Breeze, and Yardi's Elevate Suite, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert in affordable real estate, providing operational, procedural, and technical insights.
- Gather business requirements and conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Configure systems, deliver client training, and create thorough documentation to support implementation processes.
- Participate in client meetings to offer expert feedback on proposals and assist with complex help desk inquiries.
- Conduct best practice reviews to identify opportunities for enhancing workflows and procedures.
- Lead or assist in implementation projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
The successful candidate will be innovative, detail-oriented, and possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work independently are essential.
Qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years of experience in affordable housing operations, with a background in accounting or finance.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience with Yardi Systems software is required.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to consider various factors in decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with all organizational levels and external partners.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Yardi tables and basic knowledge of transact SQL is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Teams, and MS 365 is required.
- Experience with project management software is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field is preferred, with a focus on affordable housing.
