We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in audit preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP software packages and a strong command of bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial reports and ledgers, performing A/R and A/P reconciliations, and assisting with monthly billing and billbacks. Additionally, they will participate in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and ensure that expenses, deposits, funding requests, and other financial transactions are accurately posted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Financial Reports and Ledgers
- A/R and A/P Reconciliation
- Assist/Review with Monthly Billing and Billbacks
- Perform Activities Involved in the Maintenance and Control of the General Ledger
- Ensure Accurate Posting of Expenses, Deposits, Funding Requests, and Other Financial Transactions
Requirements:
- Experience with ERP Software Packages Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Emphasis in Excel
- Bachelor's Degree Highly Preferred
- Ability to Adapt to Change and Learn Quickly
- Close Attention to Detail and Organization
- Ability to Effectively Communicate Written and Verbally
Compensation: $33 - $37/hr Depending on Experience and Education
