Your Role in Our Team
  • Enhance plant productivity and efficiency by identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives across all categories of capacity loss, focusing on mechanical reliability and human factors.
  • Evaluate, rectify, and report on plant productivity metrics to leadership and the Manufacturing Center of Excellence (COE).
  • Oversee the deployment and refinement of the Lubes Reliability System (LRS) and assist in the integration of new capital equipment.
Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding employee safety, security, health, and environmental standards through the implementation of safety programs, Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS), and Personnel Safety Management System (PSMS) tools.
  • Develop methodologies for analyzing and enhancing Port Allen LOBP's packaging and blending efficiency using data reporting systems like ZARPAC and OSI PI.
  • Support the identification, tracking, and leadership of packaging and blending reliability projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with packaging operators and maintenance teams to establish best practice changeover, troubleshooting, and operational checklists or job aids to ensure consistency.
  • Assist the maintenance department in the ongoing optimization and revision of spare parts and preventative maintenance (PM) strategies.
  • Facilitate weekly Reliability Leadership Team (RLT) meetings to synchronize operations and maintenance teams on productivity performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct weekly Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions to identify mechanical issues and develop solutions, including in-depth investigations for significant equipment failures.
  • Engage with the lube plant reliability engineering network to share and adopt best practices and align Port Allen LOBP with network initiatives.
  • Collaborate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and external contractors to enhance plant equipment performance and reliability.
  • Assist operations in optimizing first-time blend/flush accuracy rates while minimizing flush quantities.
About You

Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in lube and/or packaging plants, maintenance, or project management is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of LOBP and/or packaging plant operations (blending, packaging, warehousing, and shipping)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Proven capacity to foster consensus and support team initiatives
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
  • Experience in lean manufacturing
  • Background in labor relations or supervision
