We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform carotid dopplers, segmental pressures, bypass graft surveillance examinations, upper and lower extremity venous studies
- Work closely with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and results
- Participate in quality assurance and accreditation programs to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) credentials required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum two years' experience in vascular ultrasound or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
