MaineHealth Neurosurgery & Spine is seeking a skilled Physiatrist to enhance their comprehensive model of care in Scarborough. The ideal candidate will offer Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) as an adjunctive treatment to non-surgical spinal conditions.
The selected candidate will join a team of 11 physiatrists, 12 surgeons, 3 anesthesiologists, and 3 physical therapists in a new 100,000ft2 medical building with on-site access to EMG, X-ray, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and MRI.
Competitive compensation starting at $290K with additional productivity-based earning opportunity. Benefits include 4-6 weeks of Paid Time Off, CME allocation, retirement options with employer contributions, medical, dental, vision, life/disability coverage, and more.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physiatry (Physiatry applicants).
- Prior experience with the diagnosis and management of a variety of spine and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience with and desire to incorporate OMT when clinically appropriate.
