**Overview**

As a Retail Sales Associate at Landry's, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales through engagement and suggestive selling. **Responsibilities**

* Drive sales through engagement of customers and suggestive selling
* Greet and receive customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
* Work with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and organized
* Maintain product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift
* Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items
* Verify identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items
* Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees

**Qualifications**

* One year of retail or customer service experience preferred
* High school diploma
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
* Strong multitasking and time management abilities
* Attention to detail, ensuring accurate order-taking and payment processing
* Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating tips
