Key Responsibilities:- Protocol Development and Implementation: Provide direction in the development of research protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Emory University policies.
- Participant Recruitment and Education: Recruit and screen potential study participants, develop and conduct patient and family education, and provide nursing support for specialized diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial accounts to ensure operations remain within approved levels, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Research Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data, assist in developing data collection systems, and compile reports to support research findings.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers, clinicians, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide direction and may supervise other Research Nurses or support staff, ensuring effective team management and performance.
- Education and Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia and three years of related nursing experience.
- Credentialing: Must be credentialed through Emory Healthcare under the category of RN II.
