Clinical Research Nurse II

Job Summary:
Emory University is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse II to coordinate, implement, and evaluate clinical research trials, studies, and projects. The ideal candidate will provide direction in the development of research protocols, recruit and screen potential study participants, and develop patient and family education accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement clinical research trials, studies, and projects.
- Develop and conduct patient and family education.
- Recruit and screen potential study participants.
- Oversee financial accounts to ensure operations remain within approved levels.
- Perform patient evaluations, administer medications, and research instruments.
- Provide nursing support for specialized diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
- Make referrals to in-house or community professionals and serve as a clinical resource.
- Collect data, assist in developing data collection systems, and compile reports.
- May provide infusion duties.
- Assist in writing research grants, publications, and study materials.
- Provide direction and may supervise other Research Nurses or support members.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Three years of related nursing experience.
- Credentialed through Emory Healthcare under the category of RN II.
