Position Summary:

At Vail Resorts, exceptional service is at the core of our mission, and our Ski School leadership team exemplifies this commitment. As a Ski School Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality instruction and coaching, dedicated to the development of both staff and guest experiences.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: Potentially Available
  • Location: Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard School
  • Expected Compensation: $23.00 - $24.26 per hour
  • Availability: Full-Time
  • Experience Level: Advanced

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative for My Epic; provide knowledgeable assistance and friendly, hands-on support to guests.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about My Epic functionalities to effectively assist guests.
  • Support the operational aspects of the Ski and Ride School, including training, scheduling, lesson assignments, and guest services.
  • Oversee the maintenance and setup of indoor and outdoor teaching environments.
  • Conduct daily briefings with instructors and coaches regarding company and departmental updates.
  • Collect and analyze guest experience feedback to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor instructor performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current PSIA/AASI certification required.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a ski/snowboard instructor required.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of ski and ride training.
  • Frequent walking, standing, stooping, reaching, crouching, and kneeling required.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.26. This range reflects our expected compensation for this role, with individual decisions based on various factors.
