Job Description

Job Summary:

Spartina LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Holder to assist the Store Manager in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining store operations. As a Key Holder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the store's productivity goals are met, and the customer experience is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Store Manager: Analyze sales data, develop action plans to drive sales, and manage payroll budgets to ensure store contribution is on target.
  • Team Management: Motivate and inspire team members to achieve store productivity goals, ensure effective utilization of team skills, and maintain a positive staff and customer experience.
  • Store Operations: Manage store operations, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer requests and concerns, and process accurate and efficient sales and return transactions.
  • Merchandising and Sales: Maintain a neat and clean store, perform front-end responsibilities, and drive retail sales by addressing guest concerns, coaching employees, and mitigating product loss.
  • Supervision: Supervise employees to complete tasks and achieve goals in the absence of store management.
  • Store Opening and Closing: Open and close the store following proper procedures, ensure registers are properly opened and closed, and alarms are set correctly.
  • Financial Management: Confirm that deposit slips, spreadsheets, envelopes, and deposit bags are correctly filled out and discrepancies are reconciled and cleared by accounting.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior management retail experience, with a proven track record of driving sales and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to motivate and inspire team members, and a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in using computer systems and software, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
