Job Summary

We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Commissioning Project Engineer to lead our technical teams in delivering high-quality projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process, ensuring seamless project execution, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical oversight and business development
  • Mentoring staff on processes and developing standards
  • Managing projects from a supervisory level
  • Leading weekly staff scheduling and participating in company-wide safety and training programs
  • Presenting at private or public events, including trade shows
  • Quality assurance and supporting existing projects and clients
  • Supporting company sales and revenue targets and initiating new relationships with strategic clients and markets
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in HVACR or mechanical engineering, construction management, or an Associates Degree in engineering technology or related trade school
  • Experience in a management position related to maintenance, construction, or engineering controls or 5+ years in the Cx industry
  • 7+ years of experience managing the interconnectivity of building equipment
  • Strong mentoring skills, coaching abilities, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, bid process, and ancillary industry documents
  • Aptitude to solve problems independently and in a team environment
  • Adaptability to varying indoor and outdoor working conditions
  • Physical fitness, capability to lift at least 30 pounds, and ability to climb ladders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade association involvement
  • P. E., CCP, CxA, CEM, or similar certification from experience
  • OSHA 30 or other safe workplace certifications
