Drive Technical Project Execution for Renewable Energy Assets

Are you passionate about turning technical challenges into success stories? Do you thrive in global and diverse environments? We are seeking a skilled Project and Commissioning Engineer to drive technical project execution of cutting-edge digital monitoring solutions for renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct onsite installation and configuration of SCADA/SCADA HMI systems and monitoring devices, including rigorous testing, seamless start-up, and verification of accurate configurations.
  • Program data acquisition devices using Linux OS or similar, data servers, and other equipment involved in a SCADA system for a solar PV plant.
  • Perform onsite training and testing to operators/customers about the SCADA capabilities, HMI, and hardware overall design.
  • Generate reports according to the tasks and tests performed.
  • Communicate with customers about technical aspects and support required, before, during, and after commissioning of the SCADA/monitoring system.
  • Provide technical assistance through emails and calls on the platforms performance/configuration.
  • Generate basic drawings in CAD for technical requirements of the SCADA system and other associated documentation required in the project execution.
  • Remote support to onsite partners/staff to perform commissioning services on SCADA/monitoring systems.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree in Telecommunications, IT, Control Systems, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics.
  • Passionate graduate engineers welcome to apply who are ready to take on challenges and make a significant impact in the industry.
  • 1-2 years experience with industrial communication equipment & protocols (RS485, Modbus, Ethernet).
  • Understanding of configurations and troubleshooting of local networks.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to write clear and accurate reports.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English.
  • Basic Programming knowledge in C, Python, and Structural Text.
