POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting a vibrant team to ensure outstanding customer interactions. Your focus will be on fostering a culture of excellence in sales through mentorship and leading by example. You will empower your team to make informed decisions that enhance the customer journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in coaching and developing team members alongside the General Manager.
  • Maintain a positive outlook while achieving top performance, regardless of challenges.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld to create a welcoming shopping environment.
  • Promote operational efficiency and excellence.
  • Evaluate daily and weekly sales targets to drive successful outcomes.
  • Oversee the distribution of products to delivery partners and customers.
  • Represent the Surya brand with professionalism and effective communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in retail or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with current technology, including tablets and computers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs., following safety protocols.
  • Capability to navigate effectively around the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, as well as bending, twisting, and climbing.
  • Full-time associates should have flexible availability to meet business needs.
