The ideal candidate should possess experience in payroll operations, Time & Attendance systems, payroll tax adjustments, and payroll reporting.

Key Responsibilities:


• Administer the timely and precise multi-state, bi-weekly payroll process for employees.


• Examine system entries for all employee payroll-related modifications, including timekeeping data.


• Investigate and rectify discrepancies identified during payroll processing.


• Handle all documentation and terminations in accordance with state compliance regulations.


• Ensure payroll processing adheres to all regulatory changes affecting payroll.


• Collaborate closely with HR to address employee-related compensation issues.


• Offer assistance to business partners and employees concerning payroll inquiries.


• Review and confirm the accuracy of data flow reporting from the HR system to the payroll system.


• Pre-edit payroll preview reports to ensure correct taxation of pre-tax benefit calculations.


• Reconcile payroll before transmission and validate final reports for approval.


• Guarantee that employees receive accurate payments and appropriate tax deductions.


• Generate weekly payroll reports from the payroll system into Excel.

Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.


• A minimum of 3+ years of payroll processing experience is required.


• Proficient knowledge of a Payroll Time & Attendance system is essential.


• Experience in reviewing and processing payroll tax information is necessary.


• The candidate must exhibit strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll reporting.


• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, is required.


• The candidate should be capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
