Job Title: Licensed Optician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and serve customers with a smile, setting clear expectations and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing expert advice and guidance to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear to meet customer needs and standards.
  • Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, showcasing your problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Utilize technology effectively, even in high-pressure situations, to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently, juggling multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Strive for exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies, driving business growth and success.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store environment, taking pride in your work and contributing to a positive customer experience.
  • Identify and report safety opportunities, demonstrating a commitment to a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Embody a resourceful, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset, continually seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • State Licensure
  • Optical dispensing experience
  • Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and change
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service and retail experience
