Job Title: Technical Product Owner

The Technical Product Owner will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our technology capabilities and business objectives. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions across one or more digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and technology resources to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Determine and track engineering capacity utilization.
  • Author User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Lead User Story Refinement.
  • Accept User Story delivery based on Acceptance Criteria.
Sprint Planning and Execution:
  • Determine what Stories are in a Sprint and what Engineering/QA should work on.
  • Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, release planning, sprint reviews/demos, retrospectives, etc.
  • Produce and maintain regular Sprint metrics and Initiative reporting.
  • Create relevant documentation to communicate Sprint, roadmap, and release updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Agile software engineering environment, including experience leading Agile ceremonies for Scrum teams and experience as the primary author of User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and related technical details.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on software development experience.
  • CSPO or CSM certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for managing SCRUM/Agile projects and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Lucid (or similar) to create and review data and process flows.
  • Working knowledge of Figma for reviewing UI designs.
  • Advanced proficiency with O365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
