Biblical Perspectives Adjunct Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Biblical Perspectives at Compass College of Cinematic Arts. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with our students and contribute to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that aligns with Compass College of Cinematic Arts' standards and policies.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, people skills, and integrity in interactions with students, staff, faculty, and professionals.
  • Deliver lectures for campus courses, utilizing industry-standard equipment and software.
  • Develop and update curriculum and activities that meet college, accreditation, and industry standards.
  • Interact positively with a diverse student population, providing equal opportunities for learning and growth.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Compass College of Cinematic Arts' mission and values.
  • Adhere to Compass College of Cinematic Arts' policies and procedures, including grading and attendance requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and college information, including FERPA and Non-Disclosure covered materials.
  • Grade and provide quality feedback within a week of student submission.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a master's degree with relevant academic coursework and preparation in the subject area(s) taught.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teachers and college staff.
  • Ability to interact with students and colleagues professionally and constructively at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using software such as Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other industry-standard software.

Language Requirements:

Compass College of Cinematic Arts is an English-based speaking institution. While other languages and cultural lexicon are respected, we maintain an English-based curriculum and communication system.
