Physician Assistant - Wound Healing Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant - Wound Healing Expert to join our healthcare team at Healwell Management LLC in Seattle, WA and surrounding areas.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, including venipuncture and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and other procedures at patient's bedside
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
  • Round in long term care facilities, assisted living communities, in office and occasionally home visits

Requirements:

  • Must hold an active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License in Washington and/or Idaho
  • Experience of 1-3 years as a provider is preferred but will train the right new graduate
  • Strong knowledge and experience in wound care management preferred but not required
  • Ability to triage patients effectively in emergency situations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in post-acute care settings (Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing) recommended but not required
  • Driving is required, dependable vehicle and a valid driver's license is a must. Mileage is reimbursed.

Estimated Salary:

$110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive compensation packages and benefits for our employees, production incentives.
