Job Title: Branch Manager

University of Kentucky FCU is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our retail branch team. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for guiding staff in providing exceptional services to members and the credit union by overseeing departmental operations and motivating staff to achieve individual, departmental, and credit union goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist members and employees with phone calls, answer questions about products and services, resolve problems within your authority, and refer problems beyond your authority to the next level supervisor.
  • Schedule, train, and monitor the work of Financial Services Officers and Tellers, evaluate, review, and recommend to management salary adjustments or disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure that member account information is properly recorded on the computer system and all paper documents are appropriately filed.
  • Identify and take action to improve the department's operating methods and procedures.
  • Maintain communications with the main office by preparing and submitting reports and attending meetings.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience, including sales.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Ten-key calculator, general PC, and computer keyboarding experience.
  • Ability to communicate with others one-on-one and in groups, fielding questions and responding to complaints.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others, foster sound relationships, present a trustworthy and diplomatic image, and deal effectively with others concerning topics of a personal or sensitive nature.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals with American currency, and to apply these concepts to practical solutions.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent with American currency, and to apply these concepts to practical solutions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions while dealing with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently.
