Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

At Denova Collaborative Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering integrated, child-centered care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and manage both acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
  • Provide health maintenance, including immunizations, developmental screenings, and health education, while promoting wellness and disease prevention.
  • Perform thorough physical examinations, obtain detailed patient histories, and interpret diagnostic tests to monitor and manage pediatric health concerns.
  • Utilize your expertise to prescribe medications and treatments effectively, following state laws and regulations.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and health promotion strategies, fostering a supportive environment for healthy development.
  • Collaborate closely with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Lead by example, mentor nursing staff, stay current with pediatric healthcare advancements, and advocate for EPSDT services to ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatrics.
  • Current RN license and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) in the state of practice, with DEA and ANCC certifications.
  • National certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications, and a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of relevant pediatric experience.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Must have a recent TB test with negative results and Hep B vaccination.
