Job Title: Pediatric Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Nephrology Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with kidney diseases, including hypertension, kidney stones, and nephrotic syndrome. You will work closely with our nephrology physicians, dieticians, social workers, nurses, and other support staff to provide collaborative care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments of patients
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
  • Order and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and educational programs
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nephrology
  • At least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in pediatrics or nephrology
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Arizona or ability to obtain prior to start date
