Job Summary

  • Performance Management: Enforce and train site leaders on performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to employees.

  • Time and Attendance: Understand and monitor time and attendance processes to ensure the centralized payroll team can complete processes routinely.
  • Employee Communication: Facilitate employee communication strategies on site by ensuring communication boards, digital communication displays, and electronic communications have up-to-date information accessible to employees.
  • Leave Administration: Help facilitate leave administration and requests for accommodations in compliance with applicable laws and policies with the assistance of a centralized leave team.

  • HR Expenses: Maintain H.R. related expenses within budgetary guidelines; provide ongoing information regarding required metrics, worker's compensation activities, training hours, and overtime expenses to the Plant Manager and/or Directors as required.
  • Termination Practices: Manage and actively participate in all termination practices.
  • CBB Cares Initiatives: Help drive CBB Cares initiatives, including our Connecting Communities, our Home for Good Project, and Employee Assistance Fund.
  • Employee Activities: Encourages positive interaction between management and employees; plan and implement employee activities.
  • Management Practices: Ensures that their facility is utilizing management practices which result in our employee not seeing a need for a third party for locations without a third party.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years in progressive HR Management experience in a Manufacturing or Production industry required.
  • Working knowledge of employment and labor laws, such as FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.
  • Must be knowledgeable of benefits administration, specifically the annual enrollment process, life status changes, COBRA, etc.
  • Must have experience with HRIS systems as well as strong technical skills with MS Office Suite applications. SmartSheets experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with proven experience in strategy development and problem solving.
  • Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to management, employees, corporate personnel, and vendors/suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem resolution, negotiating, and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills: and the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet established and changing deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work flexible work schedule to ensure HR availability across multiple shifts.
  • Standard manufacturing office environment and ability to comfortably navigate on manufacturing floor.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the manufacturing areas.
