Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Technician II to join our team at Biddeford Schools. As an Education Technician II, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our students, working closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in reviewing and reinforcing learning previously introduced, and participate in drill and practice activities.
  • Participate in required workshops and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Perform non-instructional, non-evaluating functions, including suspension of students, and assist in preparation of instructional materials.
  • Alert teachers to any problems or special information about individual students.
Requirements
  • Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education.
  • Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education.
  • Appropriate education and experience for Ed Technician Certification Level.
