Job Title: Education Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Technician II to join our team at Biddeford Schools. As an Education Technician II, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our students.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with students with special needs and be able to provide support in a variety of settings. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with special needs in a variety of settings, including classrooms and individualized instruction.
  • Provide support to teachers and other staff members in implementing educational programs and activities.
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of instructional materials and resources.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education.
  • Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) with fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
