Role Overview
The Automotive Service Attendant serves as the first point of contact for customers arriving for service. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth check-in process. The attendant is responsible for managing customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers promptly and courteously, gathering vehicle details at their arrival.
- Support Service Advisors in assisting customers while maintaining order in the service area.
- Safely relocate customer vehicles from the service lane to the workshop as per established protocols.
- Secure vehicle keys following departmental security measures.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues across the dealership.
- Adhere to dealership procedures for delivering vehicles, aiming for high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain the ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Must be at least eighteen years old and possess a valid driver's license.
- Successfully pass pre-employment screening, including background checks and drug tests.
