This role encompasses the entire order process, guiding customers from selection to quoting, placing orders, and tracking progress. Additionally, the Showroom Sales Specialist is tasked with upholding the showroom's cleanliness, aesthetic, and overall presentation, including essential maintenance responsibilities such as restocking and updating displays.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate under the guidance of the Sales Director. Leverage the showroom to showcase premium products to designers, homeowners, and plumbing professionals. Reach out to local designers and plumbing contractors to schedule sales appointments and address their specific needs. Employ marketing techniques and expertise to educate clients effectively. Collaborate with showroom vendors to enhance product knowledge. Build strong relationships with designers to facilitate collaboration and boost sales. Manage the process from point of sale through to installation. Act as a problem solver, encouraging clients to seek assistance in completing their projects. Ensure a clean, updated, and welcoming environment. Always strive to finalize sales. Assist customers with return and warranty inquiries as necessary.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES


Handle purchase order processing.


• Assist with various administrative tasks.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

An associate degree or background in interior design is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in design or a related field is advantageous. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential. 1 to 5 years of experience in sales within a plumbing fixture showroom is preferred but not required. Willingness to train the right candidate is available. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary. Duties require strong verbal and written communication skills, along with typing abilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS


Normal working conditions for a retail/wholesale warehouse environment.


• This is a full-time position within the GTS showroom.


• Some travel may be necessary for training and trade shows.
