Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a key member of our Respiratory Therapy Department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient respiratory status and develop effective treatment plans
  • Implement and manage respiratory therapies, including ventilation and oxygenation
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • National Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or National Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification
  • 5 years of critical care experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or related field
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
