About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Therapy Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory status and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement and evaluate respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • National Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or National Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Associate degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
