Become a Vital Part of Our Team as a Case Manager

The Durham Housing Authority is in search of a passionate and committed individual to take on the role of Case Manager. In this position, you will be instrumental in assisting residents in overcoming employment challenges and enhancing their overall well-being. Your duties will encompass performing eligibility evaluations, crafting personalized employment strategies, and linking clients to essential services.

Primary Duties:
  • Execute eligibility evaluations and assessments
  • Deliver comprehensive case management and formulate service plans
  • Engage with both internal and external collaborators
  • Attract participants and foster relationships with employers
  • Oversee client progress and monitor goal achievement
  • Connect clients to job training and placement opportunities
  • Support clients in developing life management skills
Required Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of two years of experience in community outreach and case management. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are crucial.
