Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will oversee a team of service engineers and technicians, ensuring the prompt and high-quality delivery of service offerings, solutions, and projects to clients. Your daily contributions will be vital in executing service strategies and fostering growth by prioritizing cost-effective service delivery and compliance with guidelines. You will demonstrate your expertise by driving service accomplishments through effective resource planning, allocation, and the implementation of standard procedures and safety protocols. This role operates under a remote work model. #LI-Remote This position contributes to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining a strong customer focus, urgency, and care in your area of responsibility, fostering sustainable customer relationships that drive growth, satisfaction, and retention.
• Leading the development of processes and practices informed by customer feedback (Net Promoter Score) to continually enhance customer experience.
• Allocating, directing, and monitoring work based on order specifications, delivery timelines, competencies, and workload.
• Managing a team of service professionals, guiding their development, and ensuring effective organization and direction within your area of responsibility. Our team dynamics will allow you to thrive in a talented, high-performing environment.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of engineering/field experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in field service or technical support.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-75% as needed.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid passport and driver's license are required.
  • Technical proficiency in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive, and unplanned maintenance of Measurement and Analytics products, particularly the ABB ICOS Laser Analyzers product line.
  • We are unable to sponsor an employment visa for this role. Candidates must already possess work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
