Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Underwater Operations Specialist to join our team at Phoenix International Holdings Inc. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced diver to work on a variety of underwater projects.

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Accomplish all tasks assigned by the Diving Supervisor, ensuring safe and efficient completion of diving operations.
  • Read, understand, and comply with all company policies and applicable government regulations related to diving operations.
  • Maintain and repair diving equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Assist in training new personnel or tenders, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Remain awake and alert during decompression chamber procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Travel worldwide on short notice, accepting exposure to physical risk as part of the job requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional diving school.
  • Minimum two years of actual underwater work experience.
  • Ability to pass the written Diver 3 test with a score of at least 80%.
  • Demonstrated diving ability and preferably 50 or more working dives.
  • Ability to plan dive operations requiring decompression and repetitive dives.
  • Knowledge of normal decompression and treatment tables.
  • U.S. Government security clearance desired.
  • Possession of a current Passport, ADCI Card, and TWIC Card.
