Position Summary

Are you driven by a desire to protect lives and assets? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our expanding team in the security sector in an entry-level capacity.

As a GSOC Operator, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and responding to security alarms, coordinating with security personnel, and alerting emergency services when necessary. This position is ideal for those who wish to provide essential support in corporate security and ensure the safety of individuals and assets.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in this role. A minimum of an associate degree and a strong commitment to making a positive impact are all that is needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and escalate incidents as required, investigating alarms and coordinating responses with security patrols or emergency services
  • Offer first-line support to employees regarding safety and security concerns, including monitoring the well-being of traveling staff
  • Disseminate advisories and communications, while compiling and reviewing incident and daily reports
  • Adhere to established procedures for managing a range of incidents, from minor local issues to significant global emergencies
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools
  • Willingness to work various shifts and assist with overtime as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a GSOC, Security Operations Center, or similar environment
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as International Relations, Emergency Management, or Criminal Justice
  • Familiarity with security systems, including alarm monitoring and CCTV
  • Experience with employee notification systems

Successful candidates will be invited to complete a writing assessment to evaluate their writing and analytical skills, followed by a panel interview conducted virtually. The compensation for this role is competitive and will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
