Job Title: Field Operations Manager

Protos Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Manager to join our team in the Northwest region. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising guarding operations at multiple sites, coaching and training personnel, and carrying out administrative procedures as required by Protos.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Security Officers and/or other personnel, ensuring high-quality service delivery and evaluating service quality to initiate corrective action as needed.
  • Participate in and coordinate with management the orientation, training, development, and retention of high-caliber staff, ensuring each staff member is treated with dignity, respect, and ongoing training.
  • Meet with management and/or client representatives for status updates and to address actual or potential problems, providing support during client start-ups and input to security planning, assessments, and surveys.
  • Ensure service expectations are met through regular contact, evaluation, and adjustment of service quality with all clients and posts.
  • Assign and direct work, coach employees, and carry out disciplinary actions as necessary, supporting staff in carrying out their respective responsibilities and referring problematic issues to management.
  • Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring staff members understand and comply with these requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with management regarding scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping, and related matters to ensure smooth delivery of services, meeting with management, field operations, and service to discuss customer service, initiatives, personnel matters, and related issues.
  • Inspect client sites as assigned to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with post orders, visiting client representatives to ensure they remain satisfied with services provided and covering vacant posts as necessary.
  • Responsible for accident investigations and post-accident processes, reviewing client and company required reports for accuracy and timeliness and assisting in preparing and submitting to all appropriate parties.
  • Catalogue and manage equipment of all types as needed, preparing reports and presentations as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' security experience in any vertical and demonstrated success in a leadership role.
  • Military, corporate security, law enforcement, and operations support management experience preferred.
  • Methodical and systematic approach to work and the ability to apply logic to processes.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Process-driven, detailed-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Independent and driven with demonstrated past results.
  • Not necessary but preferred: Bilingual skills (Spanish).
Travel:

Travel is required frequently between security locations in the Pacific Northwest.

Compensation:

Compensation includes base salary, and the company offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, etc.
