We are seeking a skilled Interventional Rad Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will be responsible for performing diversified clinical patient care, technical, and related duties within assigned modality. ### Responsibilities

* Perform patient assessments and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure requests
* Obtain pertinent information from patient charts and document all data within the EHR
* Educate patients for exams
* Position patients and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies
* Identify, prepare, and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to exams/procedures
* Select technical factors/parameters/sequences to produce quality images
* Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality
* Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
* Assist physicians in performing procedures

### Qualifications

* Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
* Attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Interventional Radiology RT(VI)/(CI)/or (CV)
* Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and ACLS is preferred
* Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International is required
