About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Southcoast Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and clinical duties related to interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure requests
  • Position patients and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies
  • Identify, prepare, and administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure
  • Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
  • Assist physicians in performing procedures
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • RT Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
