Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and lead quality practice improvement activities within assigned practices.
- Establish a collaborative working relationship with practice team members, including practice administrators, providers, and staff.
- Assist staff as needed and act as a role model in quality improvement, offering advice and support to others.
- Implement and institutionalize best practice through performance improvement methodologies.
- Assist in the review and analysis of quality data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Enable practice team members to understand their contribution to quality, expected quality standards, and complete necessary documentation to support quality and risk management.
- Maintain and improve quality in all areas of work and practice by addressing and resolving issues related to quality.
- Identify poor quality performance promptly, identify contributing factors, and collaboratively work with practice administrators to take effective action to address them.
- Work closely with practice team members to ensure workflows are aligned with quality initiatives.
- Attend shared learning collaboratives and display a willingness to learn from others by sharing experiences and information.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or two years of similar experience.
- Current Medical Assistant or higher certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
