Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Lead to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will be responsible for supervising and managing quality performance for our practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and lead quality practice improvement activities within assigned practices.
  • Establish a collaborative working relationship with practice team members, including practice administrators, providers, and staff.
  • Assist staff as needed and act as a role model in quality improvement, offering advice and support to others.
  • Implement and institutionalize best practice through performance improvement methodologies.
  • Assist in the review and analysis of quality data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Enable practice team members to understand their contribution to quality, expected quality standards, and complete necessary documentation to support quality and risk management.
  • Maintain and improve quality in all areas of work and practice by addressing and resolving issues related to quality.
  • Identify poor quality performance promptly, identify contributing factors, and collaboratively work with practice administrators to take effective action to address them.
  • Work closely with practice team members to ensure workflows are aligned with quality initiatives.
  • Attend shared learning collaboratives and display a willingness to learn from others by sharing experiences and information.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or two years of similar experience.
  • Current Medical Assistant or higher certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
